When the transfer is made the new registrar will maintain all relevant information regarding the domain. The domain names can only be transferred if they have been registered with the previous registrar for more than 60 days.
Simple steps on how to transfer your domain.
You should meet the following criteria in order to transfer your domain. Your domain must have been registered or transferred at least 60 days before. The domain must be unlocked at the current registrar (its Whois status should read OK or Active) to proceed with the transfer.
- Provide the EPP code (Authorization code) in the relevant field (This needs to be obtained from the current registrar for authorization).
- Select the options you need from DNS management, ID protection and Email forwarding.
- If you want to use custom nameserver, then enter the details and press continue.
- Register to MonoVM and proceed to payment.
When transfer is done
When the transfer is over, you will receive a corresponding notification to the email address associated with your MonoVM account. Depending on the TLD, your domain will be renewed for one year (standard) and its status will automatically change.
Take a look at our articles which will provide you the knowledge needed regarding domain transfer and many more.
Transfer your domains to MonoVM quickly, easily and affordably! What you will need is your Extensible Provisioning Protocol (EPP) code from your current registrar for transferring your domain names.

A domain consists of 2 parts. The first part is the name of your choice, which is essentially the name of a brand/company and the second part is the domain extension. The permissible and valid extensions are in fact the ones confirmed by ICANN, which is technically called Top Level Domain or TLD. Some common extensions are .org, .net, .com.
