MonoVM reserves the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify you by posting the revised Agreement here or elsewhere. You are legally bound to accept the revised terms if you continue to use the Services after the update. To make sure you are aware of critical changes, we will identify them.

  • The customer is responsible for the quality and performance of MonoVM Services unless the law states otherwise. MonoVM and its licensors will not be accountable for any problems or losses that the customer may face due to their content, data, or legal obligations.
  • MonoVM is not responsible for compliance with the laws of any country concerning the use or communication of the Services nor for the legal implications of connecting to the global Internet network, which is the responsibility of the customer or the location of use.
  • Ensuring the security of users' websites on shared hosting is the responsibility of the user. MonoVM is not responsible for hacking incidents or the theft of user information. MonoVM is only responsible for the security of its service, server, and infrastructure.
  • Users are responsible for the performance of internal services on a virtual server or dedicated server. The failure of services installed by the user is not the responsibility of MonoVM.
  • MonoVM shall not be responsible for any claimed damages, including incidental and consequential damages, which may arise from MonoVM servers or services going offline or being unavailable for any reason whatsoever.
  • Any MonoVM account (Client’s submitted email address) will be considered unique for one Client only. If a Client has multiple MonoVM accounts, MonoVM will monitor those duplicate accounts. If any suspicious activities are detected, the duplicate accounts will be deleted. Any requests regarding service movements between duplicate MonoVM accounts should be submitted via Tickets.
  • Following OFAC Regulations Policy (Office of Foreign Assets Control), MonoVM cannot do business or cooperate with sanctioned countries: Cuba (CU), Iran (IR), North Korea (KP), Syria (SY), Crimea, Sudan (SD), and Ukraine, or with individuals who are Specially Designated Nationals (SDNs). Under this regulation, providing/registering any domain TLDs or Webmail services (business emails and enterprise emails) for the aforementioned countries is prohibited.

  • Customers have no right to use MonoVM services for inhumane and immoral purposes. Customers are prohibited from using any software or malware for intentional or unintentional cyber-attacks.
Customers can request a refund only if they meet the following conditions:

We will refund your money if you are not satisfied with our services within 7 days of activation because of technical issues or inconsistencies. We will try our best to resolve your issues, but if we fail, we will refund your money. Note:
  • Refund requests for domain registration will be possible only for up to 3 days.
  • For certain TLDs and local domain extensions, customers are obligated to provide additional information and documentation. This requisite data must be furnished to the main registry; failure to do so grants the main registrar the authority to suspend or delete the domain. Customers are accountable for maintaining communication with the main registrar and ensuring compliance with the domain verification process. All responsibilities pertaining to domain registration, verification, and activation rest with the registrants (clients). MonoVM assumes no liability in this regard.
  • Refund requests will be checked based on the KYC verification process as the first step. Without submitting KYC documents through the ticket, your request will be rejected accordingly.
  • Amounts less than 50 dollars are non-refundable to the user's bank account and will be credited to the MonoVM wallet without any deductions.
  • The refund process will take 25-45 business days.
  • The refund will be based on the customer's payment method, and the transaction fee, depending on the payment method, will be borne by the customer.
  • All refunds paid in digital currency can only be made to the clients' credit balance.
  • According to the MonoVM Terms and Conditions, the existing credit in the MonoVM wallet for each client will not be refunded under any circumstances.
Shared Web Hosting (Reseller, Linux Web Hosting, WordPress Web Hosting) The shared web hosting service will be delivered promptly after the registration date (the date of purchase). All the login details of the service will be sent to the subscriber’s email address (client or third party). This email address will be the same as the Client Area’s email address. According to the MonoVM Terms and Conditions, any infringement, phishing, pharming, violation, mining, and other illegal use of the shared web hosting service will result in the immediate suspension of the service.

All reasons for suspension are sent via email; however, MonoVM reserves the right to suspend service without prior notification to the client’s email address.

The use of bots is strictly prohibited on our hosting service as it is not designed for this purpose. Reselling is not allowed on Web Hosting and WordPress Hosting plans. If reselling is desired, a reseller hosting plan must be purchased.

From the registration date of the service until the due date (expiry date of the service), the status of the service will be active (regardless of any issues resulting in the suspension of the service). According to the automation system, the service will be automatically suspended on the due date. By our web hosting policies, we will preserve the data on the server for 30 days following the payment due date. After these 30 days, the service will be terminated by MonoVM, and any request for reactivation of the service will be considered null and void.

Any queries regarding extra IPs should be pursued through tickets. MonoVM support experts will advise clients accurately about providing extra IPs. For web hosting services, the PHP mail function is not permitted. Some clients use the PHP mail function to send bulk messages and for spamming purposes.

Our hosting service maintains a strict policy that expressly forbids the hosting of certain types of content to ensure compliance with legal standards and to uphold the security and integrity of our platform. The following types of websites are not permitted: prime bank or bank debenture-related sites, bitcoin sites, lottery sites, MUDs or online RPGs, hate sites, hacker-related sites, sites promoting illegal activity, IP scanners or other hacking tools, mail bombing or spam scripts, or forums and websites that distribute or promote warez content. By enforcing these restrictions, we aim to provide a safe and reliable hosting environment for all our users. Backup Web Hosting backups are automated on daily, weekly, and monthly timeframes for active users. The most recent backups (up to the last 45 days) are considered retrievable backups (those backups that can be recovered by MonoVM’s technicians). Any queries received through the client’s ticket other than those specified in the backup terms will not be effective. Requests for recovering backups must be submitted through tickets. Renewal Clients will be notified about Web Hosting renewal terms (expiry date) via email. Emails will be sent 10 days before the due date of the service and at intervals thereafter. The last email is sent by MonoVM sales experts, who will connect with and advise clients regarding the renewal of the service.

The content of the emails will include the renewal invoice with different payment gateways for ease of payment (Payment gateways: PayPal, Perfect Money, Paysera, Bitcoin, WebMoney, Paymentwall, etc.). Successful payments will result in the automatic renewal of the service, and any payment problems can be addressed through tickets.

By subscribing to some credit accounts (such as PayPal), clients can enable automatic renewal of the service. Upgrade/Downgrade Packages Web hosting services can be upgraded or downgraded among the plans to change the resource packages of the service according to the client’s needs. To increase hosting storage and resources, clients can upgrade the service to higher plans by paying the difference in package price. After successful payment, the service will automatically be upgraded to the preferred plan. If the changes are not applied, you can address the issue by submitting a ticket. According to the Terms of Refund, no refunds will be provided. For downgrading packages, no charges are applied. We maintain a strict policy against spam. All traffic flowing through our servers undergoes close monitoring for any signs of spam activity. If a customer is suspected of using our services for spamming purposes, a thorough investigation will be launched. Any identified spam-related issues will be met with appropriate action. Spam Defined Spam refers to the transmission of Unsolicited Commercial Email (UCE), Unsolicited Bulk Email (UBE), or Unsolicited Facsimiles (Fax). This involves sending emails or faxes to recipients who haven't provided their prior informed consent. Here are some examples, but this list is not exhaustive:
  • Email Messages
  • Newsgroup Postings
  • System Messages (Windows)
  • Pop-up Messages (adware/spyware)
  • Instant Messages (AOL, MSN, Yahoo, etc.)
  • Online Chat Room Ads
  • Guestbook/Website Forum Posts
  • Fax Solicitations
  • Text/SMS Messages
  • Prohibited Uses
The use of our servers and services for any of the purposes listed above is strictly prohibited. Customers utilizing our products and services must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, in addition to adhering to this no-spam policy. Commercial Communication Guidelines Commercial advertising and bulk emails or faxes can only be sent to recipients who have explicitly opted-in to receive such messages. These communications must include a legitimate return address, reply-to address, the sender's physical address, and an opt-out method clearly displayed in the email or fax footer. We may request conclusive proof of opt-in for an email address or fax number upon request. Consequences of Spam Activity: If we determine that our services are being used for spam, we reserve the right to take one or more of the following actions:
  • Redirect: Your email may be rerouted to a different server.
  • Suspend: Your email service will be temporarily disabled.
  • Cancel: Your email service will be permanently terminated.
To regain service, you will need to confirm via email that you have stopped spamming and will not engage in any related activity. Persistent Abuse: If spam activity continues after service restoration, we may be forced to take more severe action, including terminating your hosting and email boxes associated with the domain name. Reporting Spam: We encourage all users to report suspected spam received through our services. You can report abuse by emailing abuse@monovm.com. Termination for Spam: We reserve the right to immediately terminate any account suspected of spam transmission or associated with unsolicited bulk emails. This decision is at our sole discretion. Titan Email Service Suspension: In the specific case of Titan email services, if your service is suspended due to a confirmed spam report, we will:
  • Provide you with a copy of the abuse report.
  • Not reactivate your service under any circumstances.
  • Reject any refund requests.
Renewal Once an email plan is suspended due to non-renewal, it will remain suspended for 30 days. If the plan is not renewed within this period, the email plan will move to a deleted state. In the deleted state, the email data will be stored on the servers for an additional 30 days. If the plan is not renewed and the data is not restored within this time, the email data will be permanently deleted from the servers. Email transfer across domains:

SSL MonoVM, as a representative of SSL services, offers products from well-known CAs DigiCert and Sectigo. The configuration and reissue rules for these services are governed by the policies of these companies. Configuration of these services must be completed within 30 days of service activation. If the services are not configured within this time frame, they will be canceled by the CA, and any refund requests will be denied. Due to U.S. export control laws, we are unable to issue secure certificates to individuals or businesses in the following countries:
  • Belarus (BY)
  • Cuba (CU)
  • Iran (IR)
  • North Korea (KP)
  • Russia (RU)
  • Syria (SY)
Venezuela (.VE) Considerations: Certificates for Venezuelan government organizations (.GOV.VE) will not be issued under any circumstances. Certificates for other Venezuelan organizations (.VE) may be issued, but only if they can demonstrate they are not subject to U.S. export restrictions.

Note: For further details on U.S. export control laws, please refer to the relevant government resources. Activation Process For DV SSL services, after clients submit the CSR to the CA, it will take 24 hours for the SSL corporations to verify the client's information. The delivery timeframes for SSL services are subject to the SSL corporation policies.

The Certificate Authority (CA) has the discretion to restrict the number of domain names that a customer can include in a single certificate. Once the certificate verification process is satisfactorily completed by the CA, the requested certificate will be issued and delivered to the customer using an appropriate delivery method. Typically, the CA will send certificates via email to an address designated by the customer for electronic download through the portal or make them accessible via the client panel in the MonoVM dashboard.

The customer agrees to comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards when requesting and utilizing certificates, including United States export control laws, economic sanctions regulations, and other applicable guidelines. The customer acknowledges that certificates may not be accessible in countries or regions restricted by the United States Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control, the United States Commerce Department, the European Commission, the United Kingdom HM Treasury’s Office of Financial Sanctions Implementation, or other relevant governmental agencies with authority over the CA.

Regarding MTC, any refund requests related to SSL services will be processed according to the SSL service providers' terms and conditions. For more information, clients can submit tickets from the MonoVM Client Area.

Requests for modifying SSL service plans after certificate issuance are not permitted. Configuration Need help configuring your SSL certificate? Our friendly support team is happy to assist! You can easily reach them by submitting a ticket through our ticketing system. Renewal Renewing your SSL is easy! To extend your SSL service coverage, simply purchase the desired renewal plan. Please note that renewal invoices cannot be applied to existing SSL services. Upon purchase, your SSL service will be activated based on your chosen billing cycle. Once your current service expires, you will need to order a new plan to maintain uninterrupted coverage. Upgrade/Downgrade Thinking about changing your SSL plan? We understand your needs may evolve. Unfortunately, upgrades or downgrades to existing SSL services are not possible after configuration. However, you can always order a new plan with the desired features once your current service expires. All regulations concerning registration, renewal, transfer, and restoration/redemption grace periods for domain TLDs are fully explained here: https://manage.resellerclub.com/kb/node/13

Domain Cancellation According to the Registrar's Terms & Conditions, a $3 Cancellation Fee is applicable for all domain cancellation requests. Please note:
  • There is no refund for add-ons purchased with domains, such as Privacy Protection, and similar services.
  • The $3 cancellation fee applies to up to 5 domains. For more than 5 domains, the fee is calculated at $5 per domain name.
  • According to the Registrar's terms and conditions, ccTLDs (Local Domains) cannot be canceled or removed from the domain panel, and requests for refunds are not accepted.
Whois Information To register a domain name successfully, you need to ensure your MonoVM client information is complete and accurate. Incomplete or incorrect details can delay your domain registration and lead to domain suspension or deletion by the main registry. Why accuracy matters? The domain registry may place a hold on your domain if your Whois information is inaccurate. To verify your identity and remove the hold, you may need to provide the following scanned documents:
  • Registrant Photo ID: Government-issued passport, driver's license, or other approved ID.
  • Address Proof: Utility bill (electricity, phone, etc.) or other official document.
  • Phone Number Proof: Phone bill or other document showing your phone number.
Local Domain information Certain TLDs and local domain extensions require customers to provide additional information and documentation. This necessary data must be submitted to the main registry; failure to comply grants the main registrar the authority to suspend or delete the domain.
Spamhaus Listing by international organizations such as Spamhaus or Radix suggests that your domain may have been flagged for spamming or associated with malicious activities. It is crucial to adhere to the delisting process outlined by these international organizations to ensure the smooth activation and operation of your domain. The responsibility for this process rests with the registrants (clients), and MonoVM assumes no liability in this matter. MonoVM Virtual Private Servers are typically delivered within 30-45 minutes from the registration date of the service. Upon completion of the server installation process, the VPS login details will be sent to the client's email address.

Requests for additional IPs must be submitted through tickets. Any violation of MonoVM's terms may lead to VPS suspension, with reasons communicated via email. For more details, please consult the Abuse and Audit Authority section of MonoVM's terms.

Control panel licenses for Linux VPS are on a monthly renewal basis, with pricing details available on the service order page. The order page also provides a list of server locations and compatible operating systems to choose from.

As per MonoVM's terms and conditions, VPS/RDP services must be renewed within 5 days of the due date. Failure to renew within this period will result in total service termination, with server data becoming unrecoverable.

For PTR (Reverse DNS) usage, the domain must first be verified by the Abuse Audit Team. Upon confirmation, availability details will be communicated via ticket. Backups The responsibility for backing up data in VPS services lies solely with the clients. MonoVM assumes no liability for client backup data in VPS services. Unlike web hosting services with automatic backup plans, clients are required to manually perform backups for VPS services. Renewal The renewal process for VPS services is automated. An invoice for renewal is sent to the client's email address 10 days before the due date. If payment is not made by the due date, the service will be suspended, and notification emails will be sent to the client's email address. The service remains suspended for up to 5 days untouched. After this period, the service will be automatically terminated. It is the client's responsibility to monitor payment details and ensure timely renewal of services. While we send email reminders regarding the renewal process and invoice status, clients need to remain informed and adhere to payment deadlines. The delivery time frame for Dedicated Servers is typically 5-10 business days from the registration date. Due to the intricate installation process of Dedicated Servers, delays may occasionally occur, and clients will be notified via tickets in such cases. Upon completion, all server login details are promptly sent to the client's email address. Comprehensive options for server configurations, including Control Panels, Extra IPs, and Operating Systems, are detailed on the Order Pages.

For more detailed information, please visit: https://monovm.com/dashboard/order

For PTR (Reverse DNS) usage, clients must first have their domain verified by the Abuse Audit Team. Notification of availability will be provided via ticket once confirmed.

Note: Customized resources for Dedicated Servers are subject to approval by our Data Center and Technical Experts. Clients seeking further information should submit a ticket. Any breaches of our policies will be handled according to MonoVM's Abuse Terms, as outlined in the Abuse Terms & Conditions category. Renewal To avoid service interruptions, your dedicated server renews automatically. We'll send a renewal invoice 10 days before the due date, followed by additional reminders. While we send reminders, you must monitor your invoice status and make payments before the 48-hour deadline to avoid permanent service loss and unrecoverable data.

Note: Unlike VPS services, dedicated servers require payment 48 hours before the due date to avoid termination. After termination, data recovery is not possible. Backups Dedicated Servers do not have options for automatic backup programs. According to our terms, MonoVM assumes no liability for Dedicated Server backups, data loss, or other issues resulting from clients' manual backup programs for Dedicated Servers. Traffic usage of bandwidth for Dedicated Servers: The amount of bandwidth included with your dedicated server plan varies depending on your server's location and configuration. These limits are clearly specified when you choose your plan. Bandwidth usage resets each month.

If your dedicated server exceeds its bandwidth limit according to MonoVM's Terms and Service, your service will be suspended. To avoid suspension, you can:
  • Upgrade your plan: Contact our Sales Department through the ticketing system or live chat to discuss upgrading to a plan with higher bandwidth limits.
  • Purchase additional bandwidth: You can purchase additional bandwidth as needed. Please contact Sales for details.
  • Unlimited bandwidth: For certain plans or upon request, unlimited bandwidth might be available. Please contact Sales for information on unlimited bandwidth options.
Upgrade / Downgrade Packages: Due to variations in the infrastructure of dedicated servers, changes to each resource must be confirmed by us. Therefore, this option is not available on the service pages, and clients should inquire about upgrades or downgrades through our ticketing system. Abuse and Audit Authority MonoVM takes abuse of its services seriously, as it can disrupt both internal operations and the global network. Our security and abuse team thoroughly investigates any reported abuse, which may lead to suspension or removal of the service.
  • If abuse is suspected, MonoVM reserves the right to inquire about the service's status and usage or suspend it until further clarification is obtained.
  • Upon receiving reports from other authorities regarding service abuse, MonoVM may suspend the service until the matter is resolved.
  • The MonoVM Abuse team categorizes cyber-attacks such as Malware, Toolkits, Port Scans, DDoS attacks, Spamming, Ransomware, email and website phishing, brand and institutional reputation abuse, Bad Bots, attacks on sites or servers, illegal copyrights (BitTorrent), and resource abuse as violations. Services involved in such activities will be promptly suspended and terminated without prior warning.
  • Storage or distribution of content related to pyramid schemes, Ponzi schemes, or multi-level marketing systems is strictly prohibited.
