Abuse Monitoring & Network Security at MonoVM

At MonoVM, network security, service integrity, and legal compliance are core priorities of our infrastructure. We actively monitor all services and IP ranges using advanced automated abuse detection and prevention systems to ensure a clean, secure, and reliable network for all customers.

Active Network Monitoring

MonoVM continuously monitors its entire infrastructure 24/7 in real time. This includes:

  • VPS Servers
  • Dedicated Servers
  • Bare Metal Servers
  • GPU Servers
  • All IPv4 and IPv6 address ranges
  • All data center locations

Monitoring is performed through automated security and intelligence systems that detect suspicious and malicious activity, including but not limited to:

  • Spam and mass-email abuse
  • Malware hosting and distribution
  • Botnet activity
  • Phishing operations
  • DDoS attacks and amplification abuse
  • Brute-force attacks
  • Network scanning and exploitation attempts

Immediate actions are taken when abuse is confirmed to protect our infrastructure and upstream providers.

Abuse Detection & Prevention System

MonoVM uses AbuseIO as its core abuse monitoring and response platform. This system enables:

  • Automated detection of abuse incidents
  • Real-time threat intelligence ingestion
  • Abuse classification and severity scoring
  • Correlation with internal IP ownership
  • Automated ticket creation and tracking
  • Enforcement of response and suspension rules

AbuseIO also integrates with external global threat intelligence and blacklist providers to proactively detect issues before they escalate.

Automated Actions & Enforcement

When abusive or abnormal behavior is detected, MonoVM may automatically apply one or more of the following actions without prior notice:

  • Traffic throttling or restriction
  • Firewall-level IP blocking
  • Temporary service suspension
  • Immediate service termination
  • Permanent account ban in severe or repeated cases

These actions are required to maintain network reputation and ensure compliance with international regulations.

Conditional KYC Enforcement

MonoVM applies conditional Know Your Customer (KYC) verification in cases where:

  • Abnormal or suspicious activity is detected
  • Network abuse is confirmed
  • Financial or fraud risk is identified
  • Required by upstream providers or legal authorities

KYC verification may require additional identity or business documentation.

Failure or refusal to complete required KYC verification may result in:

  • Temporary service suspension
  • Permanent service termination
  • Restriction from future service access

This policy is strictly enforced to protect our infrastructure, customers, and partners.
