How to Move End of the Line in Nano? [Go to End of File]

There are two methods by which you can jump to last line with the following task:

Methode 1: Use the "Alt and /" Keyboard Shortcut to go to last line

The very first step is to open a document in the nano using the terminal command given below:

sudo nano xyz.txt

The cursor would point to the document's start when you open it with the nano editor. Use the "Alt and /" combination, and your cursor will shift to the end of the last line of your document.

Method 2: Using "Ctrl + W" and "Ctrl + V" to jump to end of file in nano

Open any file in the nano editor using the given command:

sudo nano xyz.txt

Click "Ctrl + W" after the file has been opened in the nano editor. This will evoke the Search option appearing at the end of the document.

After the Search option appears, press "Ctrl + V," and you'll find that your cursor has moved to the end of the last line of your document.
